Access
Call at house
A courtesy call at the farm / house of the land owner is required.
Permission is freely and kindly granted for cavers to take the track from the parking area at Dale Head, going south-west, away from Penyghent, through Rainscar Pasture to reach the Access Land boundary. There is no need to call at Rainscar House to ask permission if approaching from Dale Head.
The exception to this are Rainscar Pots and Silverdale Gill Pot which are not on access land, and it is courteous to call at Rainscar House to ask permission.
