Hazards and Warnings

Reports received (October 2016) of movement of the large block in Main Chamber on left wall which cavers commonly use to step across into higher level passage. Cavers are advised to avoid this block and instead, proceed to far back left of Main Chamber where a climb onto a shelf and then crawl doubles-back to join the higher passage, avoiding the need to step across via the mobile block.

No restrictions

No permission is required. Please be courtous to land owners and follow an reasonable requests they make. Park with respect and don't block gateways etc.

No permission required if approached from the parking area at North side of Ibbeth Peril Gorge, or foot bridge near Tub Hole. Entrance may be obscured by flood debris and some removal of debris may be required. Ensure to replace covering after visit.
